Seidner’s Collision Centers started in 1964 from very humble beginnings in Temple City California by Murrey Seidner. Mr. Seidner built a very strong business model by following the simple principle of, “taking care of each and every guest and making sure they are happy.” This principle ultimately led to what is known today as Seidner’s “Extraordinary Repair Experience™” at all 13 locations.

Our mission is to exceed our guest’s expectations and provide an “Extraordinary Repair Experience™”. We strive to be the best in the eyes of our guests, employees and business partners and be recognized as a performance leader in the industry.

Extraordinary Repair Experience

So, what exactly is an “Extraordinary Repair Experience”? At Seidner’s, we take great pride in being a Family-Owned business since 1964. Todd and Rick Seidner work in the business every day. We have 13 auto body shop locations for you to choose from, and every location is dedicated to ensuring we “exceed your expectations.”

If we fail to exceed your expectations at any time, please call any one of our body shop locations and ask to speak to a Manager, Regional Manager, or even Rick Seidner.

When you choose Seidner’s, you can rest assured that your vehicle will be in the hands of the best in the industry. Our I-CAR trained technicians, working in facilities that hold the prestigious I-CAR Gold Class Professional designation, represent the highest level of training and expertise in the collision auto body industry.

Repairing today’s cars is highly complicated. Your vehicle may have advanced steel, such as boron or aluminum panels, that require special training and equipment to repair. It only takes a few structural repair process mistakes to render your vehicle unsafe. For example, airbag deployment can be affected by missing a few welds or not following the latest manufacturer’s repair procedures!

At Seidner’s, our top priority is your safety. We are committed to ensuring that your vehicle is not only repaired properly, but also safely, so that it reacts as designed in the event of another accident. We understand that today’s cars are engineered to protect occupants in specific ways during accidents, and we are dedicated to maintaining these safety standards through our repairs.

At Seidner’s, we have the confidence, knowledge, and equipment to repair your car properly. We also back everything with our Lifetime Warranty. After the repair, you will receive a survey by email or text to ensure we have exceeded your expectations. Our goal is always to score a 10; anything less is an area for improvement. I hope this helps you understand what the Seidner “Extraordinary Repair Experience” will mean to you. Over 15 new car dealerships, representing 22 franchise makes and numerous major insurance companies, trust and endorse Seidner’s Collision Centers.

Repair Process

Step 1 : Scanning for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)

Many of today’s vehicles are equipped with Advanced Driver Assist Systems, otherwise known as ADAS. Scanning ADAS for DTC, often referred to as Pre-Repair Scan/Pre-Scan/Health Scan (Capturing Codes), is a step in the damage analysis/blueprinting process used to identify errors, faults, and/or damage related to and unrelated to the collision.

Step 2 : Estimate

The vehicle is inspected in the Estimate Process area, and relevant data is entered into estimate computer systems. This data is compiled into an estimate that determines the cost of repairs. However, hidden damage can often not be seen until after the vehicle is disassembled.

Step 3 : Ins Approval

Once the estimate is completed, the insurance company will review the estimate. There may be negotiations on the price and procedures required to repair the vehicle. The insurance company will determine if the vehicle is repairable. Once this process is completed, the vehicle begins the actual repair process.

Step 4 : Disassembly

Hidden damage is often found during disassembly, and inner structure repairs are determined. Many times, this will require scheduling insurance re-inspection and ordering additional parts.

Step 5 : Order Parts

The required parts for your vehicle are ordered, and availability is checked. If a part needs to be specially ordered, the order will be placed as soon as possible. Although many parts may arrive quickly, the repair process cannot begin until the shop receives all the structural parts.

Step 6 : Structure Repair

The unitized body is returned to factory specification in the Structural Repair area. A sophisticated measuring system monitors all phases in this area. A computer-based measurement system analyzes your vehicle’s frame, ensuring an accurate repair.

Step 7 : Body Repair

The Body Shop Department replaces exterior panels and any required metal finishing. As sheet metal is installed and aligned, the vehicle begins to come back to life. From here, it will go to the paint preparations department.

Step 8 : Paint

Paint Preparation is a critical step in the refinishing process of every vehicle. All panels are prepared for paint, then primed and sealed to ensure good adhesion when the final top color and clear coats of paint are applied.

Step 9 : Reassembly

Final moldings and detail pieces are returned to the vehicle in the reassembly area. During this process, all the vehicle’s systems are checked. At this stage, the car is almost complete and ready for delivery.

Step 10 : Detailing

During the repair process, the vehicle accumulates dust. It will be detailed inside and out, road-tested to ensure that everything is working properly, and inspected again to ensure that it is restored to its pre-accident condition.

Step 11 : Dynamic and Static Calibrations - What’s the Difference?

Many advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) require either a DYNAMIC calibration or a STATIC calibration followed by a dynamic calibration. These procedures are not interchangeable and require a trained professional who follows OEM procedures.

Step 12 : Completed

Delivery is the last step in the repair process. When the customer arrives to pick up the vehicle, the bill is explained, and the final paperwork is completed. The customer drives away in the car, restored to its pre-accident condition.
