Recycled Ride 2016

Irwindale, CA – September 10th 2016 – Seidner’s Collision Centers partnered with AAA of Southern California to help a deserving local resident receive the gift of reliable transportation. AAA donated a 2013 Hyundai Sonata for Seidner’s to refurbish for the lucky recipient. Working with the Sheriff’s Youth Foundation of Los Angeles County, Seidner’s was able to help locate a local college student and her family who was in need of reliable transportation to help her attend college at Cal State University San Bernardino. Melanie Garcia of Covina after graduating from Duarte High School is attending CSUSB with the career goal to graduate with her BSN in Nursing. “Being able to give the gift of reliable transportation is just one the great ways we are able to give back to our community. We couldn’t be happier to help a more deserving recipient then Melanie who is on the path to giving back to the community with the help of her nursing degree.” stated Steve Seidner, VP of Seidner’s Collision Centers. The car giveaway event took place at Irwindale Speedway on First Responders Appreciation Night. Numerous Sheriff’s Department personnel were on site to help with the giveaway and recognize the tremendous gift of transportation that was given to Melanie and her family.
