Duarte, CA – February 15, 2018 – Seidner’s Collision Centers and Esurance presented a refurbished 2013 Honda Insight to a Marine Corps Veteran. Assisting in the nomination process was the Veterans and Military Services of Azusa Pacific University. All of this was made possible by the generous donation from Esurance who donated the vehicle along with Seidner’s Collision Centers’ employees who came together to help refurbish this vehicle.
The lucky recipient whose life was changed is Jonathan Anda. At the age of 21, Jonathan knew he wanted to go back to college and get an education, but did not have the financial means to pay for it. Seeking a positive change in his life, he asked his father, who was in the Marine Corps during the first Gulf War, to guide him in the process of becoming a U.S. Marine. During his enlistment abroad he was able to accomplish his Associate’s Degree online through the University Of Maryland University College in Maryland. Following his discharge from the Marine Corps he enlisted at Azusa Pacific University. As a student-veteran, he is pursuing his undergraduate degree in psychology and has plans to go to graduate school for clinical psychology. His end goal is to go back into the military community and assist veterans or active duty members as a psychologist.
